The Crazy Frog AI Trend, Explained

The Crazy Frog AI trend is a wave of TikTok videos that began in October 2026: a real person squats on an invisible motorcycle, a cop on a glowing hover-bike gives chase, and the rider flips and speeds away. It remakes the pose from the 2005 Crazy Frog Axel F video with AI.

What the Crazy Frog AI trend is

Every Crazy Frog AI trend video tells the same 11 to 15 second story. A person crouches low in mid-air with both fists out, as if gripping handlebars, and races down a road on a motorcycle that is not there. A police officer on a glowing white hover-bike closes in from behind. The rider jumps, flips, lands in the same crouch and speeds off.

The name comes from Crazy Frog, the goggled cartoon character who rode an invisible motorcycle to the "ring ding ding" moped noise in the 2005 Axel F video. The AI trend keeps the pose and the sound and swaps the frog for a real person: the creator, a friend, a grandparent, an athlete or a movie character. No frog appears in most versions.

The clips are made with AI video models that copy the motion of a reference clip onto the face from a photo. Creators then add the Crazy Frog Axel F track from TikTok's sound library, which is why the videos cluster under the #crazyfrog sound and hashtag. For the background of the character itself, read the Crazy Frog meme.

Versions

Popular Crazy Frog AI trend versions

The ride stays the same; the rider and the joke change.

  • You and your friends

The core version: a selfie on the invisible motorcycle, posted for laughs. Grandparents, bosses and roommates make the funniest riders.

  • Formula 1 drivers

F1 fans put drivers on the invisible motorcycle within days, a nod to the sound’s first life on Formula One clips in 2001.

  • Movie and game characters

Shrek, Leon from Resident Evil and superheroes all got a ride. The hover-bike cop stays, which makes the crossover funnier.

  • Fairytales and pets

A princess chased by her poodle showed the chaser can be anyone. Swapping who gives chase is now its own twist.

  • Caption jokes

The same clip with a new caption, like calling the hover-bike "the new Tesla Roadster", became the most-viewed remake.

  • Templates and tutorials

CapCut templates and how-to videos let people join without an AI tool of their own, with guides in Spanish as well.

Why the Crazy Frog AI trend spread

Nostalgia with numbers behind it. Axel F went straight to number one in the UK in 2005 and stayed four weeks, and the official video has 6.2 billion views on YouTube. Most people on TikTok heard the ringtone as kids, so the sound lands before the picture does.

A pose anyone can read. The low crouch with fists out reads as "riding a motorcycle" in a split second, with or without sound. Taking the motorcycle away is the joke.

A payoff in 14 seconds. The chase builds, the flip pays off, the rider gets away. The clip is short enough to loop and long enough to have an ending.

Easy to make in 2026. AI video models such as Seedance and Higgsfield Genjutsu copy a clip's motion onto the face from one photo, and CapCut templates skip the AI step entirely. You can make a Crazy Frog AI video in five minutes.

Room to remix. Swap the rider, swap the chaser, swap the caption. Every version above came from one of those three moves.
